How Tooth Fairy Calls collects, records, and protects your family's information.

1. Who we are

Tooth Fairy Calls is part of the LCOR Canada / MyBDC family of magical call services. We operate from Canada. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@toothfairycalls.ca.

2. What we collect

Order & account details: the parent's name, email address, and the child's first name you provide at checkout.
Message details: any note you leave about the child or the lost tooth, used only to personalise the call.
Call recordings: every call we place is recorded, as described in Section 3.
Payment information: if you pay by e-Transfer we receive your confirmation reference; if you pay by card, payment is processed by Stripe and we do not store your card number.

3. Call recording & why

We record all calls for legal, privacy, and quality-control purposes. Recordings let us verify consent was given, resolve disputes, train our performers, and — importantly — deliver the MP3 keepsake to you. By booking a call you consent to the call being recorded. The MP3 recording of your child's call is emailed to you and is yours to keep.

4. Children's data

We collect only a child's first name and the details you choose to share, solely to personalise the magical experience. We do not market to children, and we never collect more than is needed for the call.

5. How we use your information

To place and personalise your scheduled call.
To email your confirmation, your MP3 recording, and any add-ons you purchased.
To process payment and prevent fraud.
To meet our legal and quality-control obligations.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — payment processors (Stripe), our email delivery, and our hosting. Recordings are accessed only by authorised staff for the purposes in Section 3.

7. Retention

We keep order and account records for the period needed to provide the service and meet legal/accounting obligations. Call recordings are retained for quality-control and legal purposes, then deleted on a routine schedule. You may request deletion of your recordings and personal data at any time (Section 9).

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. Recordings are stored securely and are not publicly accessible.

9. Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information and call recordings. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@toothfairycalls.ca. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
